Welcome

The GWCT Cymru farming community is a platform for Welsh farmers who are passionate about reversing a decline in biodiversity, alongside a profitable agricultural business. It is a valuable platform to showcase skills, experiences and actions farmers take to support biodiversity and promote conservation. In doing so, we hope this gives us and our farmers a voice to deliver a powerful message to the Welsh Government.

Our priority is to ensure that farmers are at the heart of agri-environment policy making. This is an opportunity to show that farmers are willing to take action and participate in projects that enhance the environment and support biodiversity and conservation. It is important to highlight that doing this requires support, both financially and knowledgeably.

This will be an opportunity to exchange and share information, partner to adapt and tailor environmental and conservation measures, and work together to restore nature. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for our farmers to share their voice with us. You can find out more about the farming charter’s objectives for the community below.
